Marcus the wonder dog was getting very stressed visiting the vet. Tried oral sedatives - very little effect and he clearly fought against the meds.
Your hemp clinicals have progressively mellowed him.
I actually told the vet what I was doing and she understood and concurred. Yes, she also saw the difference.
Needless to say I will continue to use them with him. Oh. And he’s normally very chilled at home. I do find myself most vet consulting rooms are painted glaringly white.
I know dogs don’t see colours the way we do, but quite a few articles suggest the following:
“ If you're looking to create a calming space for your pet, consider using cooler shades like blue and green”.
I also politely suggested to the vet that they talk less and more slowly. He’s used to a quiet environment and responds best to few words.
I’ve always had dobermans - they are highly vigilant breed that responds best to calm.
